 In 1989, Michael C. Coup founded a new Vornado company. With its first whole-room air circulator, a significantly higher-tech version of the original Vornado fan. Design and engineering, as well as some manufacturing functions, are performed in-house at Vornado's 120,000 square-foot headquarters in Andover, Kansas.
