Comments: It arrived fast and I plugged it in downstairs in my basement which is colder than the rest of the house (you can be freezing in the basement and be too hot upstairs). Since using it I've set it on 73 and it warms the room quite well. I usually hang out in shorts and a tshirt while hanging out at night downstairs. I don't have to turn on my central air at night and just leave it low so I'm not running anything but the heater downstairs. I didn't notice it working in my garage (2 car plus) but it works great downstairs and would probably be best used in a room that you use often or to bring the temp up a few degrees in a large space. I could have sent it back long ago but I've kept it and as long as you can get free shipping why not try it. Oddly my friends have all said it looks good spontaneously which I didn't expect but really it does. Overall I'm happy.

Comments: I purchased this heater with high hopes. Upon delivery, i found it to work as advertised. There was a funny smell coming from the area of the heater around the third time i used it, however the instructions say there will be an odor the first time you use it so i figured it was just a residual smell.... Well it turned out that smell was the cord burning. Lucky i was home when it started smoking, because i would've lost everything i own. The directions on the outlet cord say to check the outlet for heat, and to unplug it when not in use. I have since ordered a different model, and i am hopefull that this problem doesn't repeat itself. Be wary leaving this product running when you're not home, or asleep.
