This space heater provides a nice steady heat at low (600watts), medium (900watts) and high (1500watts) settings. If you push the 'timer' button after turning the unit on, it will turn off after the set time. If you push only the 'timer' button - with the unit 'off' - then the unit will turn on (at the 'high heat' setting) after the set time has elapsed. I have found it to be well made, well packaged and extremely easy to assemble, and easy to use with the push buttons.
