Comments: I got one last year and just ordered a second to use this winter in the second bedroom/office. All in all, it has worked exceptionally well. I have used another brand of this type of heater and like them - and so does my cat, who loves to lie near it. These seem safer to me than regular space heaters that get burning hot and look like they're going to burn anything that gets too close. The steam radiator in my apartment turns on and off randomly so it can get pretty chilly. One of these units keeps the bedroom nice and warm all night.

Comments: This heater is easy and safe to use. I live in a one bedroom apartment directly on the Hudson River, and my bay window is poorly insulated. This heater is a great back up to my floor units which cost a lot to run.If you put it on a rug that is on top of a carpet, I would put a large, heavy cookie sheet under it to make it more stable. It should be used on a flat surface. that being said, it is easy to move from room to room. I did a lot of research, and for the money, this heater cannot be beat.

Comments: Well I read the reviews before I bought this in November, I was somewhat pleased, wasn't real happy there was no thermostat, just something like 65, 70, 75, 80 and so on, so if it did get too hot, you had to get up to turn it down or off, but I sit it on 75 now 6 feet from my bed and it takes a while to heat up. If I had to buy again, I guess I would look for something with a thermostat. 50/50 if I would buy again knowing what I know.

Comments: This space heater provides a nice steady heat at low (600watts), medium (900watts) and high (1500watts) settings. If you push the 'timer' button after turning the unit on, it will turn off after the set time. If you push only the 'timer' button - with the unit 'off' - then the unit will turn on (at the 'high heat' setting) after the set time has elapsed. I have found it to be well made, well packaged and extremely easy to assemble, and easy to use with the push buttons.
