Optional Accessories Available For The QMark Baseboard Heater HBB Models

DSC_8739

25 amp at 120-277 Single Pole Thermostat HBBT1: Single pole thermostats break only one side of the power line to your heater and cannot be turned ''off.'' Therefore, power is continuous to the heater even if it is not running. The control knob will have a low temperature setting without an ''off'' position. These thermostats generally have a temperature range of 40 to 90 degrees. The thermostat attaches in the end cap of the heater.

Duplex Receptacle 15 amps at 120 VAC HBBDR: An optional accessory that attaches and makes an additional two plug outlets for any baseboard heater. This accessory will add 8 inches to the length of the baseboard heater as it attaches to the end cap of the heater.

25 amp at 120-277 VAC Double Pole Thermostat HBBT20: A "Double Pole" is an older term for a switch that allows you to turn both sides of the filament on and off - actually turning it completely off making it much safer than leaving it always energized. Double pole thermostats should be used for zonal heat systems such as electric fan heaters, baseboard heaters, and radiant heaters. This thermostat attached within the end cap.

Two Pole Tamper-Proof Thermostat: A standard two pole thermostat but with a tamper proof guard that resembles a small disc covering, which is only removable with a screwdriver. Once it is off, an inside stem is clearly visible. This is then rotated with a screwdriver or with your fingers. This thermostat attached within the end cap.

Inside Corner CBDCIC: Allows two baseboard heaters to be set up next to each other on walls that are at a right angle to each other. If you were standing in the corner, the point of the corner would point away from you.

Outside Corner CBDCOC: If you were facing the point of this corner, it would be pointing towards you..

AC Outlet 20 Amps at 208/240 VAC HBBAC: This accessory enables you to install a 240 volt 20 amp outlet to your baseboard heater.

Review Title: Repeat buyer
Comments: I'm a repeat buyer of these heaters. They're easy to install and the design is outstanding - they don't take away anything from our decor at all. And yes, they keep our home suitably warm. This year, I'm adding them to the basement. Thanks for the great product!

Review Title: Cozy Hydronics
Comments: I purchased 4 Hydronic baseboards that were recommended by a friend. I really hadn't heard of them before. I did some research and found that you sold them and had the best price and customer feedback. I normally don't purchase much without looking and touching the items. I was a little nervous to place the order. I am completely satisfied with them and am anxious to see how my electric bill ends up this winter. I did wish that there was more of a description of how they are hydronic in either your literature or what came with it, but there wasn't. I'm still not certain of how they are classified as hydronic. Thanks!

Review Title: Q-Mark 240v hydronic baseboard heater
Comments: I bought 3 of these heaters to heat an unheated room in my house. So far they have performed well. They do not get as hot as regular electric baseboards and I like that because there is less a chance of something getting burned. They are very quiet and the standard q-mark in heater thermostat keeps the room within a 4 degree temperature range which is acceptable to me. I bought the 240volt units because they only draw half the amps of the 120volt units. This won't make a difference on the energy bill but is a plus for me because I only have 100amp service in my home. I don't know if the hydronic heaters are worth the extra cost over conventional electric heaters as both types should still cost the same to operate I just wanted a little cooler operating temperature as I always get nervous that someone will place something to close to the heaters.

Review Title: Q-Mark Baseboard Heater
Comments: I bought three of these heaters to replace the central resistance heaters in our 80 year old stone house. The forced air system caused problems with air infiltration. Since the verdict is still out (not really cold yet), I can't say if we were successful or not. The procurement of the heaters was very quick and easy, and they installed quickly. The price was also very acceptable. I highly recommend Air and Water.

Review Title: Supplemental heat
Comments: We purchased two of these for an enclosed porch that is not connected to our central heat and air. We have not had any cold weather since installation, but the electrician who installed them said they looked really nice and he thought we would be happy with them. I like the fact that they don't have a fan to become noisy.

Comments: I purchased this product to complement the central forced air heater by eliminating the uncomfortable dampness/chill at the floor level. I also wanted this product to be efficient and safe without hot electric elements that regular electric heaters have. Upon receipt, I found this product to be unobtrusive and it had clean styling. In terms of performance, the baseboard hydro electric heater is satisfactory in accomplishing the above objective and I would recommend this product to others.
