The HRT11-48B stair treads have a continuous chevron pattern so that extra traction is provided along with its ability to melt snow and ice.

The Heat Trak HRT11-48B Heated Rubber Stair Tread measures 11 inches x 48 inches and is compatible with 240 volt outlets. They can plug directly into these outlets because they have their own equipment leakage circuit interrupter.
