No expensive installations are required when using Heat Trak HTM36-5B heated mats because they are completely portable. Everything that accumulates is continuously melted so that entryways remain constantly safe and clear. Sometimes calcium chloride is used to rid entryways of the danger of snow and ice. Traction mats are a better solution because they don't cause a mess by being tracked inside and they do not eat away at sidewalks over time.

On the HTM36-5B heated traction mat, the electrically operated heating element is held between two surfaces of non-slip, UV protected rubber. It measures 36 inches x 5 feet and runs on 240 volts. This mat uses its own equipment leakage circuit interrupter so you can feel free to plug it directly into a standard 240 volt outlet.
