Comments: Originally purchased to warm unfinished basement in our new house where my son claimed a corner to be his "man cave." Consumers Report rated this company's products high. It's definitely not made to warm large areas. At most, warmed the small 10'X10' corner area. Less than ten days after receiving the product (Fed-Ex lost it in transit), tried to run it all night in upstairs bedroom. It quit working. Followed the steps to exchange product, since returning it for refund would cost us. We had no trouble returning and replacing with a new unit. So far, the new unit works enough to warm a room. One big negative. The "remote" only works when you're standing within two feet. If I were asked if I would buy another one, the answer would definitely be "No Thank You." I think I could get a less expensive product to do the same work. And, I'm still wondering if this unit will last through the winter season.

Comments: My wife and I purchased two units: one for the kitchen area and one for the living room - the two rooms where we spend most of our time together. Both rooms are large and we thought the larger, more powerful units would be better for us. Each seems to provide a pretty good heat flow, although I was expecting them to be more powerful than they are. So my rating is ADEQUATE. The unit in the living room stopped working suddenly about two weeks after we began using it. Air & Water could not have been nicer and more responsive. Immediately shipped us a new unit and it's up and running. I like them.

Comments: We use it in our enclosed porch which is not connected to the central A/C system. Vornado space heater is very quiet and efficient, much more so than the window unit, though it takes a little more time to warm up the room. The best feature is that we have no fear of getting burned by the heating element of a portable heater. So far, we love it and we use the porch more often now.

Comments: My first heater worked for less then 24hrs and then stopped. Went through the manufacturer they replaced it and now the replacement one has stopped working in less then a month!! Don't want another!! Don't trust this product!

Comments: Purchased unit to supplement existing heat source. Does ok for that purpose but I do not think it would be sufficient to heat the room by its self. Also, I am having trouble with the remote. I can't seem to get it to communicate with the master unit.

Comments: Maintains/regulates temperature in my living room just where I want it, even with 20 degree temperatures outside. Impressive. Sleek. Techy...touch display with thermo remote...can't beat that! I don't think I stop suggesting a Vornado to anyone needing heat in any room. Even though the heaters are small, there is no small heat about them. That's what I like about them so much.
